Just a brief note to say 'Thank You' for choosing my dance band BLACK VELVET TRIO to entertain at your son's Wedding Engagement party which was absolutely wonderful and as I have observed, enjoyed by all on the night.
I cannot fail to say there were so many beautiful young ladies with all those beautiful colourful outfits and even my wife watching the photos said the same.
It was very kind of you to include Lynn, Kenny and myself for dinner seated with some of your friendly friends.
As for the food - absolutely fabulous from starters to the main courses, followed by various desserts.
Talking of the entertainment, of course you are the best judge but seeing what a lively group of friends and relatives you had needs no explanation and even before we could commence with the first dance, whilst playing lighthearted music, all your lively folks were on the floor.
You had warned me in advance of the 'Young Friends attending' - I can now say the 'Groovy ones with a musical beat' - those young posh ladies with their lively personalities certainly took to the floor adding to the great atmosphere. After all your son and his beautiful wife to be are very young and we had to make sure they have a good time and hope we succeeded.
Whenever I am around with special friends and relatives, I always have my little camera with me and as such I managed to take some Candid photos at random which I am attaching as a SLIDE SHOW and can be viewed on the link below.
Sorry could not capture everyone. I am posting you the photos for you, your family and friends to view on this Blog Spot and in time I will send you a DVD as a Slide Show with background music but in the meantime request your friends to send me some of their photos for me to add to this collection.

This is the first time I experienced the special cenemony involving the 'Bride's dressing' and though I have played for unlimited Parsis in the past, this was the first time seeing something new and as such have briefly added a short explanation kindly provided on request which reads as follows:- 'The occassion was an Engagement but the Parsis also include the Tree Fertility Ceremony so that the young couple have a fruitful life together and after that we dress the Bride to welcome her into the family and hand her the trusseau comprising saris and jewellery so she may always have plenty to wear in her future life. This is what you saw.
We also take this opportunity to acknowledge our own immediate brothers and sisters on the day and gift each other in recogition of the kindness and fond affection shown to each other other over the years. '
